Great end of season stay at the Holiday Village. The hotel, bar and restaurant staff were attentive and helpful. Service was great everything inside and in the grounds were very clean and well kept. Pools were excellent (cool-ish on Oct but that's to be expected). The beach area is good, sun loungers belong to the hotel so were free. It is only 10-15min walk into a nice, friendly town with plenty of tourist and artisan shops and lots of bars and restaurants. Really great stay and we hope to return.

Amazing place for family, never really stepped out the resort. Reasonably priced, great entertainment for children and food rotation was lovely. Rooms were clean and modern, views and pools beautiful.

We booked a family room and got an upgrade to a family suite, which was a much nicer, bigger (50 m² room) with access to a private pool reserved for only 4 rooms! Great! Until they say a golf cart needs to bring you, as there is no way you can ride up the steep road with a 2 toddler trolley, and you see the private pool is 1m deep, hence pretty useless for a family with a 2 and a 3 year old.. So if you do not get a room on the same level as the main pools, be prepared to walk really steep roads and/or many steps to your room, way up the hills. Down to the beach or to town is also a steep decline, a great resort for unwanted fitness 😉

Honestly the greatest hotel on the planet. My wife and I have been 4 times. We are hoping to visit again next year. Stefanos and the team do an amazing job! Every year we return they have improved. We don't know how they do it. The bar staff are great and the food is world-class. Special thanks to David & Leo for their service!!!

A wonderful holiday; our seven year old and three year old loved it. Food is amazing, the place is very clean and the water park is a nice addition. Our seven year old loved the German kids club disco ( Emily, Maria, Jenny, Lee and Katerina ensured that they translated to English so our children could take part- they were so welcoming and wonderful) located in the Sports bar and our three year old loved the evening entertainment in the amphitheatre. The pools by the Italian kitchen seemed a nicer evironment than those near reception… be prepared to get up mega early to save sun beds as although it is “prohibited” no one listens. Luckily my husband runs every morning so he got up and saved some each day on the way to his run but it was crazy how early and quickly the beds are taken 🙈🙈🙈 The beach is spitting distance and beautiful. Great for snorkelling with the kids and warm. Only negatives- when we arrived they didn’t have a free family suite (despite that’s what we had paid for) so we were allocated a lesser room for 3 days. It was inconvenient to move and the room we were given wasn’t half as good as the room we moved to so felt cheated for half of our holiday. Tui have compensated us after we contacted them but it’s something that could have spoiled the holiday if we had let it. Also golf- buggy drivers seemed a bit irritable and miserable (we only used the service twice as we were at the top of the slope to start with) and they’re not readily available like you’re led to believe.

The location is great, with the beach just over a small road from the hotel. On arrival you don't know where the reception is, as the hotel is split into two halves ( it used to be two separate hotels, now operated as one). Now the main problem with this establishment is the room blocks are situated on the hillside. We would never have booked this hotel as the long roads around the site are so steep. The hotel offers golf buggy rides to your room, but it is very rare that you can actually get one. I didn't like the mountainous climb every time you wanted to go to your room. The reception staff ( especially the young ones) always said yes wait by the buggys and the driver will be back and take you, but they never radio'd the driver; so they never came. Although there were approximately 4 buggys only one was ever being manned and never a driver there ready to go. As I said we would never have booked this Tui holiday if we had known about the terrain. The all inclusive food and drink was very average indeed, but you could always find something to eat. We ate out five of our seven nights locally. Swimming pools there are many, including kids water park. The entertainment is very poor at night ( not worth bothering about) The staff in the main restaurant (buffet) are very pleasant especially in the out door area, always smiling and cleaning up . As mentioned the beach is over a mile long with very few people on it , so was nice and quiet. Basically a reasonable hotel for price, food not brilliant but if you are a young family with buggys, some one with mobility problems or of an older generation with breathing problems don't go there, it should come with a health warning. You would have thought that reception whilst giving me my keys to the room and knowing the layout of the hotel and seen our age and my wife using a walking stick , would have used their initiative to think room 1719 was not for us, but alas no, just jobs worths

We have just returned from a lovel 4 day holiday. Room - better than expected: - family room with in land view - block F- Requested a low level room on tui app and had one which was easily accessible via ramps for buggy and convenient for all facilities - we didn't ever struggle but some ramps were short and steep so if you have mobility issues it may be an issue. - usb and USBC sockets - 2 single beds pushed together in main bedroom but found these comfy enough. We didn't use the sofa beds in other room -we used a travel cot in this room but would fit in main bedroom for younger babies. - We also had a bottle of sparkling wine in our room after adding a note on tui app that we were travelling to mark a special occasion. Food - much better than expected from reviews: - some of the best snack bars we've experienced - We were able to get into 3 a la carte during a 4 night stay. we booked using the qr on keys the evening we arrived, My tip is to book asap. We enjoyed all our meals and our 11 month old was always catered for (Italian - this is a buffet rather than a la carte but lovely dishes) - We only used the buffet restaurants for 2 meals and daily for breakfast (main and Italian) always enough variety to suit all tastes and ages. - desserts weren't the best but there was always fresh fruit and ice-cream available. Drinks - As expected from reviews: - Wine wasnt that nice in restaurants but beer was ok - spirits with mixers - always generous measures - cocktails - mainly pre mixed but tasted ok, a bit of garnish and cocktail glasses would improve - downside is only beer and soft drinks in paper cups at bar by main entertainment. Pools - better than expected - We didn't ever have a problem with sunbed wars, we always found some close to pools on both sides after breakfast. - We mainly used the kids pool as the baby could walk around in her float and it was shaded - HV reps came here with toys to play with the little ones most days - check the app for times. Child friendly - better than expected from reviews: - The let down is the entertainment area is concrete and has lots of steps so you need to keep a close eye on kids. - no mini disco in the main area - However our little girl loved the German kids disco in the sports bar on the quiet side of the hotel 8pm - catchy songs for toddlers to dance to (some bilingual too) - I don't know why the 2 groups of tui reps don't join up to do this and advertise for all the little one's as the kids all interact and play together at the pool in the day so recognise eachother too. - kids will love the widget show and meeting the widgets for pics. - friendly crèche reps come to pool and we're great at remembering little ones names, we also went to parent stay and play at the crèche, lots to entertain the baby during the peak heat - even gave her a t shirt. - restaurant staff were very child friendly, always making a fuss of my daughter and never complained about dropped food. Location -better than expected - Shortest transfer weve had -10 minutes on the bus. - 15 minutes walk into town with a street of trinket shops one side and plenty of bars and restaurants along the front, looks like you can book boat trips etc at harbour too. - only down side is that part of the walk doesn't have pavement or lighting so I wouldnt like to walk it after dark - although plenty do. - beach wasnt as rocky like I expected and was ideal for baby to play on sand in the evening (very little shade in the day). Also a lot of the bars on the front in town offered beach sunbeds when you buy a drink. - saw older toddlers enjoying feeding fish at the beach too

Review 2 adult and 2 children f11 & m8 (first time hv but done a fare few all in packages) Room – 2111 – it was lovely, we had a large (firm but not uncomfortable) king bed in a separate bedroom to our children, joined by a Jack and Jill style bathroom with separate doors to w/c and shower, all very modern feeling with his and her basins etc. Kids room was sofas converted to single beds but well spaced out so they had a bit of privacy, fridge, all hanging clothes storage was in this room and that’s our only gripe that there was none in our room. Both rooms had sliding doors onto large balcony with amazing sea views. Tea and coffee facilities and a TV in both rooms, neither got turned on so cannot comment on operation. Location – Hotel is in a great location, close to the beach that always had plenty of beds and a warm sea with lots of fish to see. Take some bread from the buffet to encourage the fish. The water sports on beach was reasonable we hired the pedalo with a slide and had great fun and a go on the inflatable pulled by a speedboat which my son loved. Small on site shop on both sides of the hotel with a good range. The site is quite hilly, but so are many costal resorts and frankly with so much food and drink the little exercise was welcome. Food – main buffet was lovely with plenty of food for fussy kids and hungry adults. Self service drinks with lager, wine (red/white/rose), fizzy drinks, juices and coffee / tea on tap. Lunch at the buffet is excellent too. Lots of lunch options by the pool too but they get busy at lunch time, but not too bad around lunch. Special mention to the pizza guy by the pool who is uber cool and makes great pizzas. Book the speciality restaurant the day you arrive on the various touch screens. Italian – a buffet style with Italian theme table service drinks. Very pleasant. Hv dinner – American style full table service with nice burgers and a lovely lamb dish that I had. Greek – full table service with Greek style food. I could take or leave this as service was slow and you could get pretty much the same food items in the buffet. For example my moussaka came with chips but would have much preferred a nice Greek style salad which I could have easily plated myself upstairs. Didn’t try the oriental one. Pools – A great range of pools, which for some reason some parents were unable to stop their kids sh1tting in. So 3 were closed on 3 separate days. My kids who are competent swimmers loved the deep pool on the activity side of the hotel as it had fewer little kids in. The infinity pool is suitable for smaller kids as is the large pool on the quiet side. The small aqua park is a great offering for this type of hotel and the kids enjoyed the slides for a bit of entertainment. 120cm was the height restriction when we were there with no mention of it being to the shoulder. Tbh height in my opinion isn’t as important as knowing to promptly swim away before someone else comes down behind you. Sun beds – if you can’t beat them.. Yes we did, but if you don’t you won’t get a bed. We tended to get 2 or three for the 4 of us to share as the kids were mostly in the pool but some reserved more than they needed, which is totally selfish and unnecessary. I would fully support a towel removal system as we’d have ultimately got better positions. Pool towels are provided and can be changed at any time, no need to take your own. Activities – this is where the hotel is head and shoulders above others for the kids. My daughter doesn’t join in but is happy to chill by the pool, my son is a ball or energy and loved all the kids clubs, particularly the football academy. The hv team work hard long days throughout the heat and are a credit to tui. Drinks – I’d say it’s standard for an all in. I’ve had much better. There’s a range of cocktails and a standard lager that I believe is drinkable there due to the heat but doubt I’d choose to drink it given a choice. Virtually alway a queue for drinks at the bars which was a small annoyance but the bar staff are quick and very friendly.
